Deanna Van Ness owner of Magnolia salon has been in the industry since 2004. Starting her work with one of the partner’s of Chicago’s Mario Tricoci she eventually became an educator for the T.U. institute. Her knowledge of multiple products in the industry gives her a well-rounded approach to hair coloring and precision cutting. Deanna is certified in Vomor hair extensions, Aveda full spectrum color, and deep line. She has been a stylist and makeup artist for the Macy’s fashion show. She believes that an excellent consultation is the best way to deliver what the client is wanting so she attends monthly education classes on multiple aspects of the industry to ensure she is up to date with the newest trends.
Lindsay originally started school at The University of Alabama where she spent two years as a Pre-Med major; however she soon realized that her passion was to pursue a career in the hair and make-up industry. She then made the decision to pursue cosmetology, which then led her to graduate from the Aveda Institute in Birmingham, Al with a Cosmetology Science degree. After graduating she moved to her hometown of Pensacola, Fl and immediately started working in a Davines focus salon. While there she was Davines certified, her work was featured in Bella Magazine, and she was on the hair and make-up team for Fox Sports. Along with traveling to different hair shows, she enjoys traveling for weddings and special events. Lindsay specializes in the most up to date color and cutting techniques, keratin treatments, human hair extensions, and make-up. She is certified in Kenra Smoothing treatment, Vomor Hair Extension System, Aveda Full Spectrum, and Aveda Deep color lines. “Hairdressers are a wonderful breed.
